I finally got drawn for the Maine Moose Hunt. Not only did I get drawn but my mother did as well. We will have a chance at taking 2 moose this year. This is a once in a life time opportunity for most people. I have been putting in for the hunt for 22 years without getting drawn. This is my year to shine. Going for the Maine Grand Slam this year!!

I am taking my refurbished Remington 700 30-06. Going to use the Remington Express Ultra 180gr in it I think.

I actually decided I would use the Hornady 180gr Light Mag 30-06 ammo for the hunt. I am going to need to shoot the rifle a few more times to get use to the rifle and the ammo.
