In the world of 2o inch turkey barrelsd and super full chokes, some people may stick to the older model guns that were around before modern advancements. Personally I use a 2 3/4 mod. barrel remington model 11, does anyone else use an older model gun for turkey hunting.

My son used my old 20 gauge Browning that my father bought me back in early 70s. it folded that  bird up like a cheap umbrella at 30yrdIMG_0944.jpg picture by slawman_01s.

That browning is very similar to my remington, was he using 2 3/4 in. shells when he harvested the bird. I was surprised to find out my mod. barrel shot just as well as the turkey choked guns at 35 yeards, and this was using standard game loads.
