I would like to go duck hunting with my friend but don't know if my gun will work. It is a remington 870  20 guage mag that shoots 2 3/4 or 3 in.Any feed back on duck hunting or my gun would be helpful thanks.

my cousen used a H%R single shot 20 gaand killed many ducks shootn the kent fast steel 3in and winchester superx 2 3/4 so yes your gun will work fine

My son shoots an 870 Express Mag and uses 3" #4 and does real well with it to.The Kent Fast Steel seems to work best for his gun.He killed a goose a couple of years back at 40 yds,dead when it hit the ground.

I would also recommend patterning your gun to,see which choke works best mod or IC,because steel shoots almost like a full out of a mod.

Yea, I had 3 malliards at 25 yards and missed them all. Also my freind and I missed about 30 geese at tree top level. Needless to say we need a litttle practice!
