Hey guys i have never been coyote hunting. I want to go but i dont no what kind of rifle cal to use. Would a 7mm work. If you guys could help me i would really appreciate it

What is your purpose for hunting them? For there Pelts? For Fun? For QDM Purposes?

I used to hunt them for bounty for the ranchers years back when i lived in New mexico. 10$ A set of ears, I used my shot gun as well as a 22 our my 30-30. It depends as Bulldog said what are you going to do with them.

If you are planning on pelting them I might lean away from that cannon... lol We bust them quite a bit around here when nothing else is in season and I always use either my .22 or a .223 and never had any problems with it not being enough gun... If you got a .22 with a decent little scope on it I would just use it unless you are going for really long shots...

ive never been before but that 7mm is gonna mess him up bad, if your gunna mount it id go with a 22, 17, 223, 243 or 22-250 but if your just going to kill em use whatever
