This morning I had to hunt alone since my partner had to work, and so I head out to the property and find the old homesteaders cabin.  What is left of it is a shell, with no roof and little comfort in the rain like it was today.  In the corner are my Badlands Day Pack, and my Handi Rifle 7mm-08 just waiting for a whitetail to come by.

But shots taken from the walls will show you, that its just a natural blind to play the wait game.  Unfortunetly, nothing was moving in the woods today of the whitetail kind.

This small branches need some thining out for a good shooter lane, as deflection could be the end result causing a bad shot.

Finally in the last picture, is a bucks skull that I found on another ridge over looking a deer highway.  I just happen to look down and saw this, so I took the picture before I took the skull with me.
