| Curious to know how many other of my fellow hunters and sportsmen are prior service or active duty soldiers. If so, feel free to share your branch and unit with us.
I served in the US Army Rangers with the 101st Airborne/Air Assault Division from 1991 to 1995. Joined a voluteer group there (so I could keep jump status) called the Long Range Surveillance Detactment. Similar mission as the Pathfinders, Special Forces, and Marine Recon groups. Dropped in behind enemy lines and spy on them. Report back strengths and numbers. Also did Search and Rescue. | | | |
