| Well I know it's only the end of May,but I have already started counting down the months until it's time to chase after those white tails .Just wondering if any one else has th itch yet ? Can't wait until Oct and bow season !Maybe I can get my first bow kill. | |

| I am with jkoehler the itch nevers leaves. Ready seems like I am never ready. It always seems to get here before I get every thing I want to do finnished. Right after season closes I get in the woods to do some scouting for the next season then comes all the work getting a food plot going. Then comes spring turkey & squirrel season. This hunting is a hard job. But someone has to do it!!!!! | | | |

| Man it can't get here fast enough. I have already got the bow out and started to practice every night. I am going to do this season right. I have already droped 25 pounds and plan to drop at least another 30 before October 1st. Thats the start of Indiana's bow season. I will start to practice the bow one night and hit the gym the next. After I'm down in weight and in shape I will get a full suit of sent control camo. From head cover down to my boots.
I hunted three diferent places last year. two places with short walks but the third was a large farm with a half mile walk from the truck to the stand. It was a great place and the other two guys with me both got nice deer. I was sweating and puffing so bad by the time I got to the stand the deer were rolling in the fields laughing at me. Not this year. They won't know I'm there till the arrow hits them in the engine room. | | | |

| | I feel for you boys down south,we have only hit the 80's a couple times so far it was only 79 today. the past few weeks it's been high 30's to low 50's for the Motorcycle ride to work.(but as long as it's not rainin I'll ride to work cause 52 hrs a week don't give too many opertunities to ride) but those cold rides to work sure do remind me being in the woods during my most favorite time of the year.
