3rd Annual Youth Turkey Hunt Weekend
April 26 & 27, 2008
Open to All Girls and Boys ages 12 thru 15
Participant must hold a NYS small game license and be accompanied by a licensed adult.
The Turkey may be harvested anywhere in New York State
If someone doesn't have a place to hunt or needs a guide ask when you register.
We will attempt to find a guide to assist. Registration is required and deadline for entry is April 15th

Turkeys must be harvested by the registered youth. Each participant will be awarded a prize just for entering as this event is to promote participation and not competition. Our goal is to get today’s youth exposed to the outdoor sports and keeping our hunting heritage alive, while providing quality time with Mom, Dad, a relative or even a close friend.
Participants are encouraged to attend the festivities both Saturday and Sunday at the Sandy Pond Sportsman’s Association Clubhouse
for photos and fun!!

Weigh in noon to 3pm both April 26 and 27th
Saturday 1 pm we will provide Hot Dogs and Hamburgers and drinks.
Sunday 1pm Roast Beef Dinner & Prizes for all the Hunters and Parents

100 square boards (similar to football pool boards) at $10 per square
Presently we have 2 boards with 1 gun per board
1 board is located at Bear Creek Inn, Pierpont Manor or call 387-3497 to buy a square
