| Behaviors needed to be able to forgive and forget In order to forgive and forget, you need to practice:
Letting go of past hurt and pain
Letting go and letting God lead you during a hurtful time
Allowing yourself to be vulnerable to growth
Letting go of hostility and resentment
Working out your anger
Reducing competition
Overlooking slight relapses or steps backward
Recognizing your part or role in setting up hurtful experiences

Chuck,
There's been a few more posts since I sent you the PM, and that may play a huge role in the outcome, but if you'll check your PMs you'll find an honest invitation and the URL.

| 2Chucks,
You have evaded half of my questions as everyone can clearly see.
You thrive on attention and strife.
Everyone can clearly see exactly why you wouldn't have the honor to answer my challenge.
The trurh is, I care about this board and you only care about yourself.
You sir, are an "Internet Troll" and a coward and I am done talking with you. | | Chuck Manetta

| Nice try. When you are wrong on the issues, it is customary to resort to name calling. Thank you for being done. I was getting tired of reading those fictional novels you were writing. Now that we have that settled. Lets start talking about hunting. | | | |

| I have kept my mouth shut for the most part through the original war (since I was out of town and missed the opening salvo(s) anway), and also the follow up(s) again b/c I wasn't directly involved in the original conflict. Now I'm stepping in.
This topic didn't start off very well, and has gone from bad to worse. I know most of the current mods/admins have at least seen it, if not posted to it, so I knew it was at least being watched and is the reason I had not pulled the plug on it.....yet. I am about one more ranting post away from doing just that, whether it be from Chuck, 2Chucks, or somebody else. One part of me thinks that getting it all out on the table once and for all might help, but honestly, I doubt it. I just don't think the long standing resentment will be cured that easily. EVERYBODY needs to cut the crap and LET IT GO......NOW.
Old crew, new crew, it does not matter to me. I have stayed neutral throughout and will continue to do so. The overall health of the BT community is what I need to consider at this time, and this discussion has gone so far beyond healthy that research grants are being considered to find how far it went off the map! If some of you want to continue discussion of the matters of history - fine, but take it offline to PM, e-mail, telephone, or whatever, I don't care. There is a time and place for everything, but it is not here and not now.
I am leaving the topic open and unlocked for the next 24 hours in case anybody wants to use it to respond to me here in the open forums. After that I'm locking it, and may get rid of it though I haven't finalized my decision about that part yet. In any event, ANY more sniping at each other WILL result in account suspensions. My Admin buttons do still work.

| Crud, I thought I would be able to bring the REAL proof to the game. Oh well...truth and justice will not prevail. That's a shame, this stuff would show people what the REAL truth is.
When there's money involved, truth and justice usually take a back seat. That's the way it's becoming more and more these days. What a shame.

Chuck, will you at least say whether you accept the invitation or decline. You asked for it. Do you really want it?

| Junior - I understand where you're coming from, really I do. But "proof" of who is right/wrong is still a judgment call and, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. As such, it can be highly debatable, which in this case means heated. I don't care about the $ issues with Buckmasters, I never have, and in fact have my own bad aftertaste from dealings with an affiliated organization so that has no bearing on what I am saying. I just feel like this is a subject that, for whatever reason, will never see an amicable resolution acceptable to all parties. So why continue the discussion and all the negative side effects that go with it? I see no good reason, so I'm ending it. That is all.
If you or anybody disagree with my reasoning, say so. I've been wrong before, maybe I'm wrong now and should let the debate continue. PM me if you think I'm wrong and should reconsider. That goes the same for anyone. That being said, unless I post a change in that decision, it stands as written.

| Seems 'yall have risen the dead.
Mr. Manetta,
I have only been back to BuckTalk a couple of times since "all hell broke loose" and since the developement of the new site. I read your initial post on this thread and couldnt believe it. I hung my head in disbelief that you would blame the problems between yourself us "chuckers" on TwoDogs. You see, Brian came to my place in Louisiana on several occasions and I opened my door, deer stand and ice chest to him. Before I first met him I could tell something just wasnt right but I could not put my finger on it. Once I spent time with him I could tell that he loved to stretch the truth (in ways you could not even phathom). I butted heads with Brian once I caught him lying and that was that. I asked him not to have any contact with myself or my family. Maybe I was harsh, maybe I wasnt. Maybe I "bashed" him on The Corner a bit too hard. In retrospect, I wish I had learn to forgive and forget for Brians sake.
For you to compare TwoDogs to Crash ****es me off! Both were great kids that died in their prime but that is where the similarities ended. Honesty and work ethic VS lying and misrepresentation is no comparison.
For you to say that us "bashing" Brian on BT was the reason for the turmoil is ridiculous. Plain and simple Chuck, we stood up to you because of the way that you treated people. For that we were looked down on and talked bad about. We defended ourselves and it ****** you off and that is when you "Flexed" your internet powers and was met with resistance. We either had to bow down or stand up and fight and we chose to fight. Because of that we decided to move elsewhere.
All of this has been behind me. TwoDogs is gone and I am sorry for that. You could have said a thousand things and blamed this on a thousand people but those couple of comments stoked a fire in me. Stop passing the buck and take responsibility for what happened here. The respect you would gain would be unmeasureable!
As for the "Old Chuckers".... well, I have met many and traveled across many states to do so. There is not one that I would not open my door, deerstand or ice chest to and for 'ol JT to give away cold beer says a lot about the caliber of people I have known to grow and love.
