Wow you talk about an eye opener, I know we can not always count on what the news says and that I will take to the bank, (IF I CAN TRUST THEM TO) I can say this, I greatly appriteate all the men and weman that have seirverd and died for me, I just wish that I could have done the same. I feel so guilty for not being able to step up and do my part and serve with these brave folks. As far as the political thing of this, well that gets way beyond what most can deal with. We all know that money talks and (BS) WALKS.How are we as A generale public supposed to know how, or who to vote for with all the lies that are flooting around if you get what I mean. This next election is going to be one of the biggest that this country has ever seen im thinking. Im thinking of all who are posting on here, and I think most understand what im saying. I will say this Ron Paul is one I am thinking about for presidant. As i said thinking about, I realy dont have much to select from

A voice from one who is living it. Im sure that there are more soldiers who feel this way. I know we as a people are not told much truth these days and I have mixed feelings about the war. This video however is very thought provoking.

Well the way I see it,the men and women of our armed forces are the greatest in the world.I think we done the right thing by taking out Hussien and yes I belive we are right to help the iraqi people back on there feet.
I support our troops 100%.Maybe we went to Iraq for the wrong reasons, but we are there.Do we leave a sescond time with out finishing the job ?
I'm sure there are soldiers that don't agree with being there and at the same time there are those thar believe in what they are doing.
To our our soldiers,I salute you!

I would have to say I agree with some of what he said. I know it ****** all of us off that some fat slob would drive around on their forklift all day being protected by us and making more than double what the majority of us were making. There are a lot of people making a lot of money off of the war but it is not the soldiers that are putting their lives at risk. I would say I made around $40,000 while I was there and fork lift drivers just starting were making around $80,000. I am one that feels that we are there and we need to finish what we started. Our reasons for going may have not been correct but we can't change that. As far as us ever leaving I highly doubt it. I myself can not think of any place that we have ever gone into and left.

So far he's the only soldier that I've seen or read,or talked to that's saying that. Most are standing pat on that they are needed where they are,I read from several on other boards that I go to.As far as the KBR stocks going up,somebody always makes money on a war, either here or abroad, and at a soldiers expence. In other words, they are all ways about money sooner or later(even in ancint history). As far as a politian speaking for the military, what gives him the right,he ain't getting shot at,most poltians are paid liar's,nuthing new there,so why believe one now?......Personally I think ALL the canidates are pretty **** poor, wether they are Dem.or Rep.An some are worse than others....Reaper,I'm almost at a loss about your post. The 1st thing that pops in my mind from being in the Army,is why am I putting my butt in a sling to protect some civvie that shouldn't be there in the first place. The 2nd is they got ya cheap, they offered me way more than what a forklift driver made to go.

Weapons of mass destruction or not Saddam and all of his goons needed to be stopped. They were killing just because they could. Do you think that it was right to have a whole village murdered? Or your boyfriend killed because Saddams nutty son wanted his girlfriend for himself. The only thing I disagree with is that we are there for our freedom. No I think we are there for another country's freedom that was being terrorized by a self appointed president. And as far as the SOILDER in the video nobody told you to join the service you made that choice on your own. Now suck it up. P.S this is just my oppinion and I don't mean to tick anybody off. My son's been there twice and he say's there's nothing like a smile from a child that know's your trying to help.

When I die bury me with my guns and bow there mine and I'm taking them with me.

Give me a BREAK! I hope you folks do not put too much stock into this video. Crap like this makes me SICK, especially since the guy did not have the guts to wear his complete uniform while making the video. I even have my doubts that he even is a soldier and if he is, maybe he needs to re-evauluate his career choice. Last time I checked, no one has been drafted since the 70's.

I agree we did need to go there in the beginning to stop Sadam.(I know if I'd have been the soldier that found him in the hole in the ground he never woul've come out of it) But as far as stillbeing there,We're there because of the political money invested in the oil..... the politicians need to protect there investments.....I say INVEST IN AMERICA and to **** with the middle east's oil.

Ok this video is ridiculous! I spent 4yrs with the 82nd Airborne Div. I signed my papers just 2 days before 9/11. My dad woke me up that mornin to see the news and immeidatley i knew i was going to war. My date of service didnt start until Nov. I had plenty of time to squirm my way out of my enlistment if i had wanted to. Bottom line here folks...even if you had 10yrs invested in the military or were just joining up,,you can get out if you want to! Not only(and this is my opinion) is this so called soldier a chicken-%^&*, the only thing he is doing by making this video is sending a message to the familys of the Men and Women who have died over there that their loved ones perished for nothing but a buck! Cmon! Did you notice that he didnt state what unit he was from? When he was deployed? He wasnt even wearing any dog tags! I hope his chain of command makes him do flutter kicks until he pukes!

shuffle to the door....I must say tho',I prefered to tailgate Chinooks over C-130's or Starlifters.Which one did you like best Diamondflush?Ha...backing a Gammagoat off a tailgate at 50 miles per hour was a rush,in it's self.

Yeah Chinooks got my vote! For smoothest and easy anyway! Although, aside from breathing hard, nothing beats a C-130 @ 29,000 ft at sunset over the ocean! Halo baby! God i miss that! All The Way!

The guy in the video sounds like another wine arse that joined the reserves for the college money and is whining 'cause he got deployed. That's what he gets for not understanding the contract that he signed and the OATH HE STATED. I was in during the Gulf war and that kind of insolence would have been dealt with rather swiftly.
All I have to say is it's a good thing for him that he don't live near me!
