| | I doubt that it would hurt anything. I haven't had anything respond to estrous scent here yet but hopefully next weekend. | | Only the dead have seen the end of war. Plato | |

| Yeah now that I would consider dumb I hunted just above a massive scrape about 2 weeks ago in my climber, and the dern big boy passed above me about 30 yards away, never giving me a clear shot. I just KNEW he was coming to check the scrape, but was instead headed for the clover patch we sewed earlier in the year. I shouldve hunted my other stand that night | | | |

| | FYI to my comment, I was referring to the guy who said some will urinate on the scrape themselves as being dumb, not willy spraying estrous on it. | | | |

| | I don't think it was a mistake at all. One think I have learned when it comes to hunting, is never be afraid to try something different. If it doesn't work, then you gained experience in the field. You never know, a huge monster buck might walk out; then you wouldn't think it was a bad idea. | | Crystal City, Zavala County, Deep South Texas | |

| | Interesting guys. I have never heard of intentionally putting human pee on a deer scrape. I would think, as much as we spend on trying to keep our scents covered up, we wouldn't go and intentionally put our scent out there, while wearing our expensive ScentLok clothing or whatever. I guess whatever works though right? | | | |

| | That's why I stick to cheap ol' mossy oak camo and just wash it in uv killer and baking soda. If you hunt huge woods I think scent is very important but where I hunt it's all fairly small woods (less than 100 acres) and a LOT of farming ground with enough human scent that deer don't freak out when they get a very small dose. I haven't had one pick me in a long time. It never hurts to go the extra mile don't get me wrong, but "cleaning your clothes to a microbial level" that they advertise on TV is just making you spend more cash. | | "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy." | they say all urine turns to amonna in a very short time. this was tested on michigan out doors a few years back. they compared amonia aginst a store purchased doe pee. on a deer farm. what do you think came out ahead? as for peeing in a scrap i will hit every scrap i can when leaving the woods. and have seen big changes when i return. i even carry amonia now in a spray bottle. and have for several years. dose it work? i cant say yes. i cant say no. i have had them fallow a drag line with amonia. and i have had them snort at it. some does dont seem to like it. some it dosent bother. i have found it best during peek rut.will it work better than 69 or some other brand depends on the deer. is it worth a try? i am still useing and will continue to use durring peek rut in scraps. and for a cover on a drag line | | | |

| | I dont think it was a mistake at all. I dont think it can hurt all it will do is let you know if they are starting to rut or not. Maybe this will help get the bucks interest up. | | | |
