As some of you know, last year I lost the land I had been hunting for the past several years. Well last night I got a call from an old freind I used to go to church with and got permission to hunt his woods, its jsut a small lot of about 20 acres and is surounded by corn fields, there are several other small woods lots within about 5 mile radius and is right next to the property that I took my 9 pt a couple of years ago. My only problemm is I havent been able to scout the area or get any stands up. I am planningopn startingwitha ground blind until I can get a feel for the area, But at least I am finally back in the woods. Man itis hard to believe how much a person could miss being in the woods untill you loose it. Well I plan o being there Saturday morning wish me luck cause I think I am going to need it this year.

good luck to ya! and welcome to the woods . i know how you feel when u lose a place wre u hunt been there. seems like think works it self out and places come open for u to hunt. like your friend gave u permission to hunt. that is great news.
