It is really hot here in Southern Il. Probabably too hot to hunt. Friday afternoon I trugded out into the woods. By the time I had gotten to my tree, got the stand attached and climbed up I was completely drenched in sweat and dripping. About 4:30 a small deer which turned out to be a button buck meandered by. Since I wanted to see what the Rage blades would do I tried them out. Saw a six and a cow horn later but too hot to even think about dragging a deer that size by my lonesome.
Here are some picks of the lethality of the rage 2-blades. The little guy went about 25 yard and was done.
This was a small deer (75 pounds on the hoof) but look at that entrance hole.
