Hey Yall,

              Well it's under way ya'll got two great reports today of brothers in hunt of some great kills and trophies. With the seasons just getting under way the fever is in it's hottest moments. We have three to four months of great hunts and follow up stories to come but one thing I want to point out is that this is the best opportunity to introduce our youngins to hunting. We share the responsibility of passing on our sport and our values to them before someone else claims them as social victories. Our families are our greatest asset in the battle to keep our sport alive and thriving. I used to laugh at the old phrase " hunting season widow " but as many of you know and as our brothers and sisters on the outdoor channel are starting to bring to life this is a family affair. I cant think of a better way to spend a weekend with my wife, my kids, or my whole family than to be outdoors sharing the legacy of this great sport, life style, and our personal family heritage. I know not every one is as blessed as I with a family who craves the outdoors but you might be surprised to find that if you share with them what you find so irresistible them might just catch that fever too.
