Welcome to the new Buckmasters.com. We hope you’re enjoying the new design and expanded content.

The design and programming team did a great job of turning the initial concept into a reality in a short amount of time.

We wrestled with the idea to announce that our new website would be launched. However, we faced a few issues that could have prevented the July 17 launch. Rather than not delivering on a predetermined launch date in the event we were to experience fatal errors, we decided to throw the switch and see what would happen. It worked.

Technology, specifically the Internet, is moving at a fast pace. I recently read that the Internet had an audience of 50 million people in just four years of existence. It took radio 38 years and television 13 years to achieve that mark. That is a truly an amazing feat. As a result, the Internet continues to use the latest technological developments to deliver content in new ways. The new Buckmasters.com does just that.

For example, the new site features video. Let’s face it, video is the future that is already here. As the video library grows, so will the number of how-to videos, outtakes, sponsor clips and more. There’s no better way to learn about a technique that to have someone show you how to do it.

We didn’t want to neglect the strong community aspect. Rather, we wanted to build the Buckmasters community. The result is Buckmasters “Huntin' Camp.” Here you can post your very own member profile and interact like never before with fellow members. The “Buckmasters Forums” carried over. However, due to a change in the system that runs our new website, we were not able to transfer usernames, passwords and the topics posted on the old forums.

We’re also looking at the new website like a magazine by continually updating the “Featured Articles” section. Here you will read professionally written stories from authors throughout the country with expertise in a variety of backgrounds. Each week, a new story will appear. The features could cover deer activity, deer hunting basics, bowhunting how-tos, rattling tactics and much more.

Then read what our editors think in the “Blog” section. You just never know where their travels will take them during deer season.

Can’t find your latest copy of Buckmasters magazine? No worries. The DigiMags, as the industry calls them, are online.

The entire site is presently open to everyone. Eventually, certain portions of the website will be available only to Buckmasters members. We are always looking for ways to give our members additional benefits and the new website will accomplish this mission.

Some of the items that will be exclusive to Buckmasters members include “Featured Articles,” exclusive content in the “Video Libraries,” “Huntin’ Camp,” digital magazines, various resource pages, additional content from Buckmasters Magazine articles and much more.

Rest assured, our Buckmasters Forums participants who are not Buckmasters members will have continued access to this portion of the site.

Some of the features that will remain free and open to everyone include “Trophy Gallery,” “Video Library,” “Reader Features,” “Blogs,” “State and Legislative News” and more.

So, take the new Buckmasters.com for a spin. At the end of the day, this website is yours and we want to deliver the information that is important and relevant to you. Feel free to let us know what you think.
