Did they have to clean the room themselves for that $5.00 discount? Technically $3.00. Geez, what's the rest of the story? :-)

lol melsue did it right... think about this.. they each gave $10 which equals $30... the clerk gave a $5 discount which each recieved $1 b/c they gave the remaining $2 to the clerk as a tip... 25 divided by 3 = $8.33 plus the $1 the got back from discount puts them at $9.33 each... so $9.33 x 3 =$27.99 plus the $2 equals $29.99... inwhich when they got their refund one paid and extra penny to equal it out... its not the 9+9+9.. they still had another dollar that was needed to be split and thats how you get the $9.33
