A young Canadian soldier was taking some courses between assignments. One day as the professor of one class, who was a vowed athiest, walked into the lecture hall, he looked to the ceiling, held out his arms and yelled " God, if you are real, knock me off of this platform!!" The hall was dead silent. Ten minutes pass and he says "Time is running out, prove Yourself!" As the fifteen minutes are about to expire the young soldier gets up, walks up to the professor and duffs him, Knocking him out cold. When he awakes he says to the soldier "What the Hell are you thinking??" The lad replies "God was to busy protecting our soldiers fighting to give you the right to stand up here, speak freely and act like an %^^&*(^, so He sent me"

Yea, I love this joke too. Only difference was the one I heard was a Marine instead of a Canadian soldier.

AMEN to that one. I for one thank GOD for all the men and women who have served,and are curently still serving this great Nation of ours giving us the right and freedoms we all enjoy, And especially to the families of the ones who paid the ultimate price for that freedom May the Grace of God be with You all this Holiday season and Bring you all home safely soon.
