didn't know where else to put this post so here it is. i haven't been replying to any posts lately, just reading. a lot of you know what i am going through because you have also. i lost my hero august 6th due to a burst aneurism. he served 27 months in the Marine Corp in the pacific participating at Guam, Guadalcanal. Bouganville, Iwo Jima among other places. he and Mom were married 62 years. he was a great Dad, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather. he didn't hunt but threw corn out for me and helped bring deer in from the woods.  Dad was 84, lived through the depression and overcame hard time but had a good life. sure am gonna miss him. ya'll don't need to reply, just wanted to let ya know where i've been. just wanted to give a little tribute.

Very tough to loose someone that close to you. Will remember you in my prayers.
