whats the best way to cook rabbit, and isnt there certain months that you cant eat them cause they have worms?

fry your rabbit brown. pour the oil out of your skillet. put the browned rabbit back in skillet. add water to just cover the meat. take one big white onion and chop it up and spread on top of the meat. bring the water to a boil then put heat to simmer and put a lid on skillet. cook on simmer until onions are done. the flour from the rabbit will make the gravy. serve with bisquits and anything of your choice. enjoy..

i saw your post under squirrel were you said you didn't like gravy. so take your rabbit and put it in a pan with some butter and a little water. season it with season salt and black pepper. cover pan with lid or foil. bake in oven until done. you can experiment with different seasonings for your taste. enjoy..
