I would like to set up mineral sites on my property.What are some good ingredients for a good site?

i bought 2 buck lickers in acorn flavor from bass pro, put one out the weekend before bow season mid sept and by muzzleloader oct 24 in was gone, had fresh tracks in it every weekend put i never seen any at it, going to put the other one out next year same time thought
