Just wondering how seed and fertilizer prices are in everybody's area.Every thing has gone way up here, 13/13/13 is $15 per 50lbs,last fall I paid $8.75 for feed wheat and I hate to see the price for deer mix this year.

at the local mill, they're buying corn at 7.18/bushel,soybeans 14+,wheat6.85/bushel,oats1.25.may put oates in my game feeder this winter ,as long as it doesn't come out of canada.if it does it usually runs about 8.00a bag.(50lbs)fertilizers,sprays,and seed/feed have all gone up this year due to fuel cost.had to adjust my price on hay sales to account for the cost of fuel.grass hay here is bringing $4.00/bale, alfalfa 5-6/bale for 1st cut,2nd cut will probably go 7-8/bale.straw will probably go 3-4/bale and this doesn't count delivery cost.

came past the feedmill this morning on way home from work and notice the grain prices.corn-5.35/bshl.,beans-14.35/bshl.,oates-1.25/bshl.so,grain prices are coming down some and the futures are holding steady at these prices.may be able to buy some corn for feeders.if your able and can store some in a shed/barn/garage, try to buy in bulk,500-1000lbs at a time at a local feedmill.you can save $ on the price per/hundred.1000lbs. will be around 10-15 feed sacks 75-100lbs.each and you can take the sacks back an get them refilled.
