Well for any and all old 591/592 rifle holders the ammo is back, and at a reasonable price at 17.99 per box of 50 as compared to $40/50 per box (origanial)on the Gun auction sites. As for us shooters that want one of these rimfire wonder rifles, there is hope coming http://gunsandammomag.com/GA_NRA2008W03200805/index.html  If you have been following this resurgence of a old classic, you know you used to could pick a origanial rifle once in a while at a gunshow for the price on $100/150,that was reasonable,it is/was a used gun.Now that ammo is back, the going rate on auction sites is around $300/400 for the same 20 year old rifle.Talk about price gougeing!!!!Currently there are rumors that TC,Savage,Rossi are tooling up for NEW production guns, but the only ones I have confirmed are CZ and Taurus just like the article reads...If your a TC fan,I'd suggest waiting for the new ones to come out,a 10" Contender barrell used will run you around $200/250 used,I'm guessing the new ones will run $250/300 range(personally I like new way better than used anyday)
Also when the NEW rifles hit the shelves I hope the origanal Remingtons will drop back to afair price,I'd suggest getting one then.If your a reloader, you could do a Craig conversion then to a center fire.I checked you can still get the kit,to go from rimfire to centerfire.

Okay I had hoped for a direct link, but for reason it ain't working, the link will pull up the main page, you'll have to scroll down to the Archives section at the bottom of the page, look for the Ammuntion section then click on the Title ..."5mm Remington Revival or Resurrestion."
Sorry guys about having to post twice on this, but I ain't found the edit button on here yet or is there such a feature?
