| | All right you got out of the house you are on the range? What irrititates you the most with other shooters? I had a tough couple of weeks at the range with some Nosy individuals who apparently knew everything. What is the correct way to act at the range? | | | |

| | I just go and shoot, dont really talk to anyone unless they talk to me. the last time i went this guy had a 22 semi auto and at the range its supposed to be 2 or 3 seconds between shoots and the instructors told him to stop shooting and he just kept shooting until they told him to leave. I dont go to the range anymore, I just shoot at a friends house | | SOUTHERN PRIDE | |

| | Your range has a time requirement in between shots? I would hate that i enjoy shooting fast from time to time. The friends house is not an option to me, they all live in town. | | | |

| As part of my range etiquette, I choose a bench at my local DNR range that is usually isolated from the other shooters. One reason is the flying brass from the ejection port on my "assault" guns. Second reason is that the muzzle blast from my .50 bmg will rattle your teeth out and knock everything off every bench in a 10 ft radius! Some folks don't appreciate that.
I have been irratated before at the same range by some folks not giving others a chance to go down range and change targets or make closer inspections of targets. These guys will sit and shoot with thier .22's for an hour non-stop at a hundred little square targets propped up at 50 yards. They will ignore you and force you to go to the range officers shack and get his butt down there to make everyone put their weapons on the wall. None of us own that range. But some want to act like they do. Very inconsiderate. | | | |

| | at the range I got to you shoot for a while then they come out and make you unload your guns and come by and check every gun before you can go move or set up a new target, the last time we went the guy laid my buddys gun on the scope and we had to re sit it in, I hate shootn at a gun range. | | SOUTHERN PRIDE | |

| | I had people walk out in front of me, this is at a public range. One person shot down range while I was putting my tape over my holes on the pistol range, and the range was cold. I just don't like people who don't pay attention. Its been 18 years so I guess I am lucky. Public ranges seem to be the most dangerous, It seems to me that most are not members of private ranges and don't shoot alot or know ettiuite on the range. I avoid public ranges as much as possible. | | | |
