| Anyone here own a Mossberg 930? How do you like it? I have been using my Dad's Ithaca 20 gauge semi-automatic for turkey this past year and wanted to step up and get a shotgun here in Missouri that could accommodate a wide variety of hunting seasons, as well as shoot a little clay from time to time. I have found that the Mossberg 930 not only has interchangeable chokes, but barrels as well. My plan is to start off with the matte synthetic stock 28" barrel 3" chambered 12 gauge waterfowl model. In addition to the shotgun itself, I have near future plans on adding a cantilevered fully rifled barrel along with a few Carlson's choke tubes (extended ported turkey, skeet, modified, and improved cylinder, and maybe the coyote choke).
I was just curious to see if there were any people out there that had a Mossberg 930 and what they thought of it. Thank You! | |

| | the 930 is a tactical shotgun. are you sure that is the model you want to go with? I own a Mossberg 935 and it is awesome. It has a good many barrel configurations including turkey, waterfowl and a turkey/deer combo option. the 935 I own I have patterned out to fifity yards with hevi 13 3 1/2" turkey loads and also the federal heavey weight turkey loads and it patterned fantastic. i've even shot coyote with it at 40 to 50 yds! whatever you decide good luck and may all you days afield be good days. | | | |
