35 Remmy 150 PSPCL..Muzzle..1762,100yrds..1169,200yrds...755
These figures come from Remington website ballistics table,looks like the 35 Remmy is un-ethical for deer if you compare them all just on foot pounds of energy

My first comment on this subject was directed at the post made by dakota dan, on 9/18/2008, 12:19 am. I dont really give a rats @ss who kills what with any given caliber! I agree, marksmanship is the key to clean kills. You can use a 416 rigby, if you cant hit your intended target, its useless!! And I have to say, if you dont posses said marsmanship skills you shouldnt be in the woods to begin with.

whats the kinetic energy of a spear to be legal for deer hunting? Does it need speed? if so how fast to make it legal?
legal = no problem
ethical = practice
personal ethics = keep em to yourself

And knowing BTR as long as i have, i would say he was born that way *L*

My first gun was a youth 7mm-08 and its been my favorite gun of all. Even my father likes it. It blows a hole bigger than your fist in a deer and its smaller than a normal .22. It doesnt kick that hard depending on if you get hot loads.
