| Hello all... This is my first post on any firearms related forum...I have been out of touch for several years concerning firearms and hunting. I started hunting and fishing with my parents when I was 3 so I'm not ignorant to it, but just out of touch. I am to the point that I want to start my gun collection (functional firearms) up again as all of my guns were burglarized in 1984. I have recently started watching hunting shows and anything to do with shooting. I have also tried to do some research on the internet as to the "new" guns on the market I thought I had decided for sure on my first new gun..The T/C Icon...but then the Pro Hunter caught my eye as well...I hope some of you will be able to give me some advice and/or at least your opinion of these new guns. I used to shoot a Rem BDL and a Ruger #1 both in .243 cal...I am living in WY now and will be looking at .30 cal most likely..( I am looking at the new T/C .30 cal) so any advice or thoughts would be appreciated on that cartridge as well..I will also be looking at getting back into reloading, but have to take one step at a time!! Thanks in advance!!!

| | If it were me I would go with the pro hunter because you can then collect all the different barrels for them. A friend of mine has 27 barrels for his encore. | |

thats what i really want to do is get different barrels for any and all hunting and such
