| | I just bought a new scope for my 30-06, It's a Sportsmans Edge. It say's it's made by Bushnell. It's a 3x9x50 I got it for $39.95, I know you get what you pay for when it comes to optics But I figured what the heck I can use it for varmits if nothing else. Has anyone else heard of this brand or tried it? | | | |

| | I bought my son a Simmons "Eight point" for around $60 and it has turned out to be a very good scope. The first deer he killed was around 200 yds. | | Tubby The God of My Rock;He Is My Sheild; And The Horn Of My Salvation 2 Samuuel,Ch 22 | |

| | pizzaman17 if you got what you wanted at a price you were willing to pay then consider it a good deal. And if it turns out to be a bad purchase you've only lost $40.00. | | "Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail." Ralph Waldo Emerson | |

| it really goes for anything in life. My wife and I just get by financially and 6 years ago I bought her a Daewoo car as it was all we could afford. At the same time my neighbor bought a Lexus. Each car had 3 year warranty. The neighbors car has had more stuff go bad on their car than my wifes piece of Korean Junk. Just goes to show that better is not always better. | |

| | You get what you pay for does not always apply. I refuse to pay more for a scope than what I have in a rifle, actually, I don't want to pay 1/4 of what I have in a rifle. I have used all of the "cheap" one's and gotten pretty good service out of them. My wife (bless her heart - she is a city gal) buys me a top of the line (recommended by one of my buddies) scope for Christmas one year (I am purposely leaving the brand out). I knew what she had paid for it, mounted it, sighted it in and the third time I hunted with it, it had fogged on the inside (lost its gas). After fighting with the store which had sold it, I got my wife's money back and bought me another "cheap" one, which five years later is still going strong. | | | |
