I am considering buying a Sako 75 SS in 30.06 with a synthetic stock. I had a Tikka with SS in 30.06 and a synthetic stock. I liked the Tikka's smooth action. I use my 30.06  mostly for  Moose Hunting in Northern Ontario, or Alberta, Canada. I have had no problems with the synthetic stock in the past. It was great when the snow was flying. Never felt cold, never got slippery in rain either. Nice soft feel. So my question is, I like the Grey Wolf in Black Grey Laminated stcok, but, I  wonder if I should stick with the stock that is on the rifle when I buy it? . When I buy the SAKo 75, how do I know what a Fiberglass stock is, versus the existing synthetic? Should I just go out and replace the synthetic with the laminated stock that I prefer?
I am in no rush. However, my proirities are in purchasing the Sako 75 rifle first, then buy a Leupold II or Leupold III Scope. THEN buy the synthetic stock. Are my priorities screwed up? When I am in a boat, canoe, or in the woods, I cannot honestly say I really care what stock it is. It is only when I get back to camp and I am cleaning the rifle or sighting in at  the range that I really admire any aesthetics of the stock...Advice?

Are they still making the 75 since they started making the new Sako 85?
