| Any one use T/C rifle barrels? How is accuracy, what caliber for whitetail, and how far are your shots. I was wondering if it is more cost effective to buy a barrel or a new rifle. Thanks | | | |

| | Well I have a few encore barrels....The accuracy is purdy good on mine. But to be fair and honest, that depends on who all you ask. Some people hate them and complain about them. You may even have to do some tinkering with the one you get,if you do there are lots of things that can be done to make even a bad barrell into a tack driver.Remington according to all the hype is supposed to be the most accurate rife out of the box, according to them.but that ain't always so.As far as the range,it all depends on (3,)things,how good a shooter you are,and the caliber you are shooting, and I can not stress this enuf,RINGS & BASES use good ones!As far as cost per se,it all depends on what you want and can afford. They are a highly additive firearm, but they ain't for everybody. You never seem to have enfu barrells on hand, and barrells do and will hold their value(even factory stuff) long after the new has worn off them. | | | |
