I was wondering since i have to season the barrle if I could shoot a patch and ball? lmk going to go sight it in tommorrow hopefully

I would sight it in with the bullets and powder load that I intended to hunt with.
As far as shooting round ball and patch,I don't think it would hurt

I believe ,the rate of twist,will be a little too fast for a patched round ball.
