| | well if it's a NEW muzzy, your gonna have to break(season) the barrel with a lot of range time before you will see some really groups with it.The question of powder chioce is up to you. When I first started out useing smokepoles the ONLY choice was real blackpowder either FF or FFF.But now days I use Triple 7 just because it's alot easier to clean up.I'm kinda old school when breakin in a barrel 100 grains until I get a 100 shots down range, then I start playing with powder loads & types and bullet selections | | | |

| | wow 100 shots Ive never heard of this before. Well instead of shooting expensive sabots can I just shoot a round ball and patch? I think I may go back to my old school gun and just swap scopes | | | |

| | First , Reread the owners manual, as smokeless power is very Dangerous !!! . More than likely it says use only black power subsitute such as triple seven or pyrodux. Other than that i have a tradition's tracker 209 that is 6 yrears old and it shoots great, as long as you take good care of it , it should last a long time. I shoot 100 grains pyrodux and 300 grain lightfield sabots and have taken a lot of deer with this combo. Like said before you need to season the barrel . Just start with around 90 grains of power and work your loads up. Some times even tho the gun is rated for up to the 150 grain magum load dosen't mean ot will be any more accurate. |
