What kind of ammo do you use?I heard the bullet type and weight choice is limited.

I shoot the Winchester Supremes in 180gr. Your choices are very limited but the WSM is a good caliber.

300 wsm is a 30 cal ,should be able to load bullets from 110gr up to and including 220gr

he said what it is on the form name 300 wsm, my dad has a weatherby 300 wea mag, ammo is pretty expensive, he got a good deal on the gun at stores and web sites its over 1500 but he got it for 400 with a luepold scope on it, hasnt got a chance to shoot it yet but heard its not all bark but alota bite to

Well I just picked up a new in box Winchester Model 70 in the 300 WSM. I had my friend load me up two loads. One is a 180 ballistic tip and the other 165 Accubonds. I will let you know more when I harvest a deer.
