I have a Taurus 44 mag with a ported barrel. Right out of the box the sights were dead on and I have never adjusted them. I can hit Papa Smurf in the head at 30 yards with the iron sights. (Why shoot at boring paper targets. I had a Barney, but everyone wanted to take a shot and he didn't last very long.
) Took a nice doe with it, but she was only 15 yards in front of my stand.
