I've been trying to find out where i can legally hunt in california and have hit dead ends everywhere I look. The Department of Fish and Game can tell me where the zones are but not where it's legal to hunt. Can anyone help with this? I want to be legal!

Any National forest is a great start. What are you hunting? What part of California are you in? Northern CA there are tons of areas and Southern CA there are a few that I know of. I am in Northern CA.... Lake Tahoe has a few great spots where there are some monster bucks...
