| I have an older PSE bow. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it quieter. I don't have the money to replace it this year, so I would like to make it as quiet as possible. I will probably be handing this bow down to my daughter next year, so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,

| How about adding some LimbSaver stuff to it. Here is a link for Bass Pro Shop that shows a few thing that you can buy in a bundle thing that should have everything you need. There are two different ones so look at both to see which on you want. There are other products that do the same thing, but this is just what I thought I would show you to get you started.

Just click the "at..." thing above, I have the page link embedded into each one that is why it is underlined and/or a different color... | | Ronald Lee Ray Jr. rrjr11@cox.net Disabled Navy Veteran

OOPS!!! I just noticed that the first set was for Crossbow. But they has the very same thing for any bow. In fact I think it is the same thing that they use on other bows. Looks like that same thing anyway.

| Make sure your bow is properly tuned. If the limbs or not in tune with each other (called tiller) it will make alot of noise when you release. Is the cabling and string up to date? Not old worn out ones right? Another suggestion is to make sure everything is tight, your sights, quiver, arrow rest, stabilizer...anything attached!!! Make sure you have the right arrows for your settup, if you have to light of an arrow, boy will it make a load twang!!!!
Hope these tips help....Rilla | | 7MM Rem. Mag. reach out and touch something!!

| | Check the cams for excess wax from the string, others will tell you it can't get there, but it can and it makes them chatter . Try a very small amount of cam lube too. Make sure the you stabelizer fits tight against the face of the bow. You also might try having someone stand off to the side when you shoot to identifie where the sound comes from. Just my 2 Cents. | | See ya in the woods, whtbear | |
