Just got my first bow last week at Cabela's. It was recommended as a good first bow for the price. My friend said I could get a Mathews like his for 1300.00, but i didn't feel like taken out a second on the house. It shoots nice at 40 yards about a 3 to 4 inch group. it's set for 70# draw w/ 80% let off. i've been practiciing just about everyday. Should be ready for opening day at the end of the month. I'm enjoying it but it diffently makes this old rifle hunter look for at hunting with different eyes. I'll try to put a pic of the bow on here, not to sure about up loading the pics.

Not a bad bow at all to start out with. We have sold several of them over the years for their inexensiveness, and ability to teach a beginner the fundamentals without all the hype of I have to shoot great right away because I have top of the line stuff, such as Hoyt, Mathew's, and Bowtech. Parker does make top end quality equipment don't get me wrong, but they sell it at less than top end price, which is the good thing about them. You can/could stay with that bow for years to come and still not have to worry about it being old/out dated anything like that, and actually outshoot your friend and his Mathew's for a fraction of the cost, which is the great thing about it. Good luck, and happy hunting

I got just the Buck-hunter, two of my friends got the XP because the Cabela's we were at sold the last B-H to me. I bought a whisker biscuit to replace the pins. I like the biscuit better for quick sighting. All 3 of us are pretty happy. Were going up next weekend for a camp work weekend. I'm going to try for coyote while were up in the mountains. We've all been practiciing about every other day. There will be about 15 of us up for opening day at our camp. We've gotten a lot help from our other friends with more experience with the Bow. I think this year is going to be a great year at camp both for Bow and rifle seasons.
