just a little tip I discovered today. I was going to re-fletch some arrows, I  removed the fletching last season, but left the glue on. I couldn't find my razor blade, so I grabed a potato peeler and in just a few seconds all the old glue was gone and the carbon shaft was clean and didn't have a scratch on it. This wouldn't work for cutting off the old fletching, but for removing the glue after you get them off, a potato peeler works much better than a razor and doesn't gouge out any material from the arrow shaft.
