My dad is gettin on in years and has given me his old bow.
Its a fred bear SUPER KODIAK 70# He thinks he bought it after his tour in korea in the late 50s early sixties is there a way to contact bear or find out exactly what and how old the bow is????

Also is it safe to shoot this bow for hunting without hurting it?????
It is in pristeen condition.??????
I will never sell it it will go to my kids so resale is not the issue I just dont want to damage it.

I would agree with hunting inmissouri , I would hang it up and show it off. just because it was your Dads and it is an antique .

If you can read the serial number, bear archery should be able to tell you when it was made.

Thanks I will try to reach them.I can read it fine hell this one still has the original deer hide patch for arrow guide on the upright side of the frame.the bow is in perfect shape.
