Has anyone ever had a bow blow up from missfiring. Happened to my step-dad once he was pulling 90 pds and his arrow came unocked unknowingly when he let go the whole thing just blew up.

I've heard of bows shattering, or having a catastrophic break when dry fired, but never one blowing up? Was he using dynamite as limbs....:)

Friend was 'test drawing' a new Bowtech last year without the 'No-Fire' release & let it slip..
A few hundred later, he owned a new bow with a newer set of limbs..
My shop has an 'test' release that is a release wrist strap attached to a solid aluminum rod with a back cut groove for the string to catch in. There is no chance of an 'accident' release.... I think TRU-FIRE makes it..
