what grain broadhead do you all shot deer hunting?  I got the G5 montec in 125 grain, but if i want to shoot different broadheads do i need to stick with the same grain?

I have both the G5's and Muzzy 3 blade in 125 grn,I use the muzzys with my crossbow and I'm trying to get my son set up with G5's on his bow.

My boy an I use 125 grain Cabela's Lazer Supreme,I use them in my crossbow an the boy use's them in his Bowtech.We hunt elk,deer,antelope,an we take a moose some times with them.

Seems like most people that I know that are still shooting aluminum arrows and have a decent drawlength still shoot the 125's but I don't know anyone that shoots carbon with 125s. I know there have got to be many out there but not that I have seen...

I used the 125 grn expanadables with carbons before I got hurt and had to start using a cross bow.

I use 100gr sonics, I use to use 100gr G5's, but just couldn't get them as sharp as I wanted.

Yes make sure that you use the same grain broadhead as your field points when practicing. Whether it be 100 or 125's. Also try a few different styles of broaheads like fixed or expandables and find which shoots best with your bow.

I shoot 100 gr Rages and Reapers. If you do switch to a different grain head it will slightly change your point of impact.
