i have a 10 yard range set up in my backyard where my grandson age 6 and i shoot all year long i shoot my crossbow he shoots his compoundhank   krawiech@comcast.net

The earlier the better. You never really use the muscles that let you hold your bow steady on a daily basis and the longer you shoot before season the better. I usually wait until August or so because I am fishing too much... lol

I start shooting mine as soon as it warms up enough to go out and practice without freezing...

I figure, if I'm not getting anything, other than practice, why freeze my butt off!!! So I will start going out soon to start practicing as soon as I get the chance too, anytime now!!!

I started 4 and half years ago.  havent stopped since.  i shoot on average 2 times a week besides 3-D shoots and other shoots

i would say shoot all year long. in the summer theres alot of 3d tournaments outside which are fun to do. instead of shooting the same old thing everyday. and it makes you better for deer season.

I shoot year round. I enjoy shooting, and I start challenging myself with more and difficult stuff. Keep you in tune with your bow and keeps you up on distances, looking for your shot, and in general being a better bowman.

WELL I WON'T LIE, I START AROUND AUG. AND TRY TO SHOOT 30-40 ARROWS A DAY 4-5 DAYS A WEEK ..BUT I NEED TO GET OFF MY BUTT AND FIND ME A 3D CLUB AND SHOOT ALL YEAR ...

I shot mine about a month ago for some night time hog and coon huntn and its still on, I usually start a month or so before season starts

find an archery club i shoot all year round whether its 3d's or bail targts
