I have decided to switch from longbow to compound because i noticed this past season that I cant holdstill more than 10 seconds .I have been looking at a Fred Bear and a Parker.I am leaning towards the Parker Buck Hunter.seems like a pretty good Bow.any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I made the change a little over a year ago, you'll find it is much easier to shoot a compound, than it is to shoot a recurve,or a long bow. I've used a Damon Howatt Recurve ,since I was 13,or 14 years old,and in 8 days I'll be 56years old. Man time flys ! lol When I made the switch,I bought a Fred Bear Instinct, An excellent bow ,I couldnt be happier. Good luck with your new bow ,and good hunting.

I agree you will be amazed with the switch and especially how far they have come in even the last 5 years. No more of watching the arrow drop into the bullseye, you let 'er go and it's already there. Good luck, there is a lot of 'em out there to choose from. Just shoot as many as you can before you pick one up to see what feels best.
