I have a tru glo light sight (right or left handed) and the pin guard has a hole in the top and bottom for the light. I got mine at wal-mart last year, and I know cabelas carries the same one.

This is the one I have I did buy an extra pin,but as you can see it has the light is on top and it has a mounting hole on the bottom. I realy like mine. Very bright. The pin guard has a glow in the dark ring that is very helpfull aswell.

Have you tried to turn the pin guard over so the light is on the top for a left hand shooter?
Just curious.

I've said it before...so I'll say it again. Some states don't let you have anything electronic on a bow. South Dakota is one of these states. If you plan to do this, read your regs. Before taking it out of state, check their regs.

I am sorta confused as to why it doesn't light anything up? It shouldn't matter if the light is mounted on the top or bottom as long as the light is turned on and hitting the fiber going to the pin. Is the light coming on? I did have one of those from walmart as pictured above. I didn't like it as the pins were not very bright to begin with. I took it back and picked up a cobra site with the screw in light.
