the nocks on all my arrows have been broken off after shooting them a few times my back stop is an old metal door, @ 20-30 yards and the bow is 45# draw should the nocks be braking off from that?

The only time that I have had a nock break is when I hit it with one of my other shots but I have never shot a metal door before. It could be possible that when they are hitting the door they bounce off and the nocks are hitting the door and breaking. If I were you I would just go and buy a cheap block style target and just use the door as a secondary safety just in case you missed.
