Congrats Rescue, I also have a Drenaline. I purchased one back in February, and have had the chance to really get the feel for it and I love it. The thing is pretty fast set up for hunting also, shot it through the chrono this weekend with my hunting setup. Its pushing a 400 grain arrow set at 67 pounds at 282 fps, I was pretty impressed. Good luck and hope you like it.

You can run, but your gonna leave a blood trail!

Well got some bad but good news, went and showed my stepdad and he just had to pull it back, (still don't know why) and the string rolled off of his finger and dry fired it. Good news is that the bow is fine and the only thing wrong was I lost the string damper and it cost me 3.00 dollars. Alot of people on here were talking on here about the drenalins limbs cracking I can say one thing I think this bow is impressive it went through all of this and is still fine. The dealer also stated that my drenalin was not the first he had seen dry fired and that they all have held up. I want to say to Matthews good product, Thank You.

Congrats on your new side kick and good luck with it.  I bought the Drenalin also, back in March and I too love it.  I shoot  the carbon express Maxima arrows with the weighted forward technology.  They work great together.

Hey Rescue, you got lucky!!  A friend told me today that a guy was trying a new release and it slipped. It was a Matthews Switchback. He said it sounded like a shotgun going off and broke into pieces. He said his ears rang for 3 days and thought he might have to see a Dr. The local archery shop said they could fix it but they suggested a new bow because of the extensive damage. So he bought a Drenlin.

The owner of the bow shop told me that if anyone goes to pull your bow back always point in a safe direction and put a arrow in it, also I think that this is also a good idea, all of his new bows in the shop have wire ties on the strings so they can't get pulled back I thought about doing this for showing someone my bow or if you have kids around, I understand they can still cut it but it will prevent a injury or money in the long run....
