I started shooting the crossbow but I have a problem  the bolts wobble  something terrible  why is this happening ? is it normal ? what do I need to do to correct this problem? the arrows from my compound bow do not wobble I don't think these should either

I shoot a crossbow, willy an I use the Carbon Exspress bolt's with my Barnett Revolution,do you have marked the string on your crossbow a mark on each side of the rail ,so you can pull it back evenly each time, if that is not done each time, every time you shoot it it can wobble your bolt's through the air.Try that an see if your problem straighten 's out if you got anymore question fill free to drop me an e-mail,anytime.

Also you could be useing a bolt that is lite for the poundage of your xbow, meaning you might have to go to a heavyer spined bolt.with the Carbon Xspress bolt's that I use with a 125 grain broadhead, bring's the total weight of the bolt to a little over 5oo grain's.

Are you sure it's wobble and not 'planing' ? Does it only happen when using broadheads and field tips fly fine? Planing occurs in crossbows when the broadhead is trying to steer the bolt instead of the fletchings. This can be cured by switching to a mechanical/expandable broadhead or choosing a fixed blade that is smaller in cutting diameter with vented blades.

I USE 2219`S WITH 100GRAIN BROADHEADS, DRAW WEIGHT 165LBS, 5 1/2`` VANES ON MY BOLTS, CURED MY WOBBLING , USED TO USE BOLTS WITH 3`` VANES COULD NOT HIT THE SAME SPOT TWICE ALSO THE NOCH WAS CHANGED FROM STRAIGHT CUT TO HALF MOON ENSURES TRUE RELEASE DOWN THE RAIL.

Please don't think me dumb or stupid, but I now know why the bolts are not flying straight . I went and bought a new crossbow when I unpacked it it had an extra cable, at first I didn't understand because I have never been close to a crossbow, now I do, on the first one the STRING is missing, like I said I have never been close to one before so I didn;t know.
I know some people are going to think I'm stupid, but if you have never saw something you don't know about it.
I'm sorry I even posted this
