| This season didnt start out to promising for me this year, i had a 8 point come walking in about 20 yards from me and I shot about 6 inches under him?? I was clueless to why I shot so far under so I went home and shot the target some and realized that my grouping that i thought i had with my fixed blades was far off, after shooting for about a hour and trying to get them to group tight, it still never got to satisfaction, so I then decided to go and switch to the Rage expandables and I couldnt be happier, these things fly aweswome and smack a big ol' hole in the deer. Just figured I would share a pic of the deer and the hole that you can see is the exit, the side that it entered on actually had part of the lung hanging out!! Oh, and also i know there will prob. be bashers on the spike, but this deer was not going to be anything, this deer was a older deer and on the other side he had 4 spikes coming out of his head that were all about 1 inch high then the one of the left was just that one, being that it was a more mature deer i figured it would best to get him out of there..Sorry for so much writing. | | | |

| Good job doublelunger ! Congratulations on the kill ! I pretty sure no one here bashes you for taking out a spike. We are fortunate to have enough deer population and liberal limits that allow us to be able take out smaller bucks when they don't measure up. Anyone complains about that needs to check their facts on South Carolina deer herd management practices.
Got two in the freezer myself. 7 pt(rifle) and a 6 pt (archery). Passed on a a nice 6 pt yesterday with my muzzleloader. Waiting on big brother.... | | | |
