JUST BOUGHT MY GIRLFREIND A USED 270 REMINGTON 7400 SEMI AUTO REAL NICE LOOKING.....IT HAS A CHEEP SCOPE BUT I FEEL IT WILL BE GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER..ONLY PAID $300.00 AND IT LOOKS REAL NICE...ANYONE HAVE ANY GOODS OR BADS ABOUT THIS MODEL???????//

I think it will be a great gun.I don't know many who have it in the 270 but there are quite a few 30/06's around and as far as the scope not being a high end scope,my son has a $60 Simmions on his gun and it will drive tacks !

i had a 270 REMINGTON 7400 SEMI AUTO also . . . . mine was new tho but i loved it

My brother has used one  for several years now, and it hasn't given him any troubles. Its not exactly a "tack driver" but he has taken many deer and the bullet goes just where he wants it to. So yes its a good gun for deer.
Give a man a fish and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.
