You guys might think this is crazy but I'm going to pass it on anyway. Being a firefighter I usually listen to a police scanner while I'm at work to get a jump on calls sometimes. Over the last few years while listening to the local Sheriff's Department I've noticed a sharp increase in deer/car accidents when rutting activity is getting hot and heavy. I've checked with area hunters when I notice this type of call increasing and they confirm the bucks are really chasing does hard when this happens. So my tip to you is that if you own a police scanner you can use it to tell when bucks are chasing does in your area.
