I just purchased a Mathews DXT, and have it set up with a QAD ultra rest.  I used this same rest on my Switchback XT, and did not have any problems, but on this bow I am getting a bad slap noise, and eratic arrow flight, I had the dealer set it up, and it is at center, level.  I have moved this rest in all directions to see if it will clear up, but it doesn't.  If anyone is having the same problems please leave a post.  Any new ideas would be a big help.

when did you buy  the bow?  how many shots have you taken with the new bow?

The same thing happened to me with my Drenalin....The timing may be off untill your strings are fully broken in....The strings DO Strech a little bit after the first usage

Another friend of mine had the same issue but he shoots a trophy taker....

long story short...put a basic fixed rest on there for the first 200 or so shots.  Then put your qad on, and you should be fine....I have a qad and would buy another if I had another bow!

I had my last tune up in march of this year (after I had about 200 shots taken)

and have not had any problems since

hope this helps,

kitterick

This is one of the main reasons that I have lost a little bit of respect for Matthews. They skeletonized the riser so much that you can't get the extra set screw on the rest to line up with anything solid to make it mount up tightly because they drilled holes all over the dang thing to try to force you to buy their rests. On your Switchback you didn't have that problem because you could put most any quality rest on it. I dont know why in the heck they would drill that hole right by the burger hole for any other reason than to limit your choice of rests because it couldn't have cut off a 1/4 ounce of the bow which in my opionion is too light anyway. Just one man's opinion though...

I have the same set up(DXT QAD ultra) I havent had any problem(yet). Its a fairly new setup(about two months old) I've shot somewhere between two or three hundred arrows so far. Sounds like you may just have a "bum rest"
